Financial distress is an inevitable feature of global commerce. Economic volatility, cross border operations, regulatory complexity, and market disruption can quickly place companies under financial pressure. Effective corporate rescue and business recovery require strategic intervention, informed legal awareness, and coordinated stakeholder management.
This five-day course provides a practical and internationally focused understanding of corporate rescue mechanisms, restructuring strategies, and formal insolvency procedures used in major jurisdictions. The course examines both informal rescue tools and formal proceedings such as Administration, Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVA), Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation (CVL), Administrative Receivership, and Compulsory Liquidation, alongside cross border recognition principles. The emphasis is on rescue, restructuring, and value preservation rather than purely liquidation-based outcomes. Through practical case studies and structured simulations, participants will develop the skills required to manage financial distress strategically and responsibly in international markets.
This course is delivered in coordination with EMG Associates, a leading legal training firm based in London.
