Feedback is one of the most misused tools in communication and performance management. What makes things worse is that the term is ill-defined as feeding back, which is wrong. For some people, it means providing an opinion or a reaction; for others, it means appraising or evaluating. It is neither. Feedback is best explained when it is defined using the term feed-forward! In this intensive workshop, we will x-ray the term feedback within various contexts and highlight how this communication tool can positively impact the recipient’s performance, increase their motivation, and enhance their self-esteem.
