Charles J. Tawk



Mr. Charles Tawk is a Partner with Meirc Training & Consulting. Charles holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and Training from the University of Leicester- UK and a Bachelor degree of laws from the Lebanese University. Charles is a senior certified professional by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM-SCP)-USA, a certified training practitioner (CTP™) from the Institute of Performance and Learning- Canada, certified in occupational health and safety from Nebosh-UK, and a registered organization development consultant with the International Society for Organization Development and Change (ISODC)-USA.
In addition, Charles earned specialized certifications in health and society from Harvard University, globalization from Texas University at Austin and international human rights from Belgium’s Louvain University.


Charles held several positions in the areas of human resources, management and law. He started his career as a lawyer-trainee in prominent Lebanese law firms and eventually became a legal advisor for several companies taking positions in legal, administration and personnel management. Concurrently, he is an active member in many professional and international organizations such as the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), the International Society for Organization Development and Change (ISODC), International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Association for Talent Development (ATD), The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), and the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). In 2007, Charles joined Indevco Group, an international industrial group, as head of human resources in Saudi Arabia. He then became a business unit administration manager in charge of human resources and personnel. His efforts in setting successful human resources strategies and processes in the manufacturing sector helped transform his department and business unit into a role model in best practices and innovation within the whole group and industry. As a result, his scope and responsibilities were increased to include the health and safety department.


With Meirc, Charles conducts a variety of programs in human resources management, administration and labor law. He also provides training and consulting solutions in many fields such as public relation, negotiation, problem solving, team building, customer focus, interpersonal communication and self-development. Charles’ expertise also includes coaching, leadership and management.
