Course Methodology

Through the combination of interactive lectures, group, and individual presentations, the course will present participants with the chance to practice the skills acquired through exercises and case studies. Additionally, videos will be shown on real-life companies which implemented the Six Sigma methodology. A case study will be presented throughout the training to illustrate the deployment of Six Sigma.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Explain Six Sigma and its importance in driving and sustain business improvement
  • Examine the defined stage components and generate the project charter
  • Discuss data collection and analysis stages using various tools in Minitab
  • Improve and control processes using various Six Sigma tools
  • Apply various tools usually used in a Six Sigma project (variation removal) and Lean approach (waste removal)

Note 3: Participants who attend all sessions will be awarded a MEIRC certificate of completion after the training. Certification option (included in the fees) can be obtained by passing an exam at the end of the course (70% pass rate) which measures participants' knowledge on Six Sigma body of knowledge (BOK).

Meirc Professional Certificate (MPC)

MPC certified courses by Meirc Training & Consulting are designed for those willing to challenge themselves and go the extra distance. Participants who fully attend an MPC course and successfully complete the test on the last day, will receive a Meirc Professional Certificate (MPC), in addition to the one they receive for full attendance.
