Mr. George Khayat is a senior consultant with Meirc Training & Consulting. He holds a bachelor of science in management from the Lebanese American University, a master in marketing and communication from ESCP-EAP University in France, and is currently completing a master of science in management from St. Joseph University in Beirut. George is a certified marketing analyst (The Graduate Board of Management, USA), a chartered marketer (Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK), a certified Lego® Serious Play® method facilitator, and a certified sales professional (Sales Training International, USA). He is also certified in Action Selling® (USA) and Guerrilla Marketing (Australia).
George held several positions in sales and marketing management for leading companies in Lebanon. He worked with LG, Aiwa, Tecnogas, Candy, and Villeroy & Boch and helped them in coaching and training their sales teams, preparing yearly communication and marketing plans and sales forecasts, developing retail and wholesale channels, negotiating with suppliers, and managing their commercial functions. Concurrently, he taught undergraduates and postgraduates in different universities and conducted various training programs for private companies and for the Office of the Minister of Strategic and Administrative Reform in Lebanon. George was also director of studies & faculty at Pigier Business Schools and the campus director at the C&E American University Institute.
George’s qualifications span the entire sales and marketing continuum. His experience includes sales skills, sales management, customer service, key account management and customer relations, as well as marketing and branding, negotiation and behavioral skills. He is also a member in International Sales and Marketing Professional Associations (ISMM, CIM) and a certified trainer for “The Leadership Challenge®” (Posner and Kouzes- Wiley, U.S.A).
