Education

Ahmad Ghannoum is partner and deputy managing director of Meirc Training & Consulting. He is the author of Supply Unchained (First Edition, 2021, ISBN 978-1-7372880-7-7). Ahmad holds a bachelor of business administration from the American University of Beirut and an international executive master of business administration from IE Business School in Madrid. Ahmad is also an alumnus of the executive program in strategy and organization at Stanford University. He is an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (FCILT) and a member of the board of CILT UAE.

Experience

Ahmad has extensive experience in strategy consulting and supply chain management. In 1999, he launched his career in Istanbul, where he managed the supply chain of FMCG industry leaders Dole Fresh Fruits, Sadia and Tyson Foods in Turkey and the CIS countries. Later, he developed and led the procurement department for telecom provider MTN in Conakry, Guinea. Prior to joining Meirc, Ahmad operated as principal consultant with TCO Management Consulting, a Dubai-based boutique consultancy, where he advised leaders in healthcare, media and government sectors on matters of strategic planning and organizational restructuring. Ahmad has also been involved in a number of research undertakings and is the author of several acclaimed white papers.

Expertise

At Meirc, Ahmad facilitates training programs in the areas of supply chain management, contracts management and strategy.  He also specializes in a number of organizational behavior topics such as interpersonal communication and people management skills.  In addition to his training expertise, Ahmad has hands-on experience in consulting assignments related to supply chain management, strategic planning and organizational design.
