Education

Ahmad Ghannoum is a partner and deputy managing director of Meirc Training & Consulting. He is the author of Supply Unchained (First Edition, 2021, ISBN 978-1-7372880-7-7). Ahmad holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the American University of Beirut and an International Executive Master of Business Administration from IE Business School in Madrid. Ahmad is also an alumnus of the Executive Program in Strategy and Organization at Stanford University. He is an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (FCILT), and a member of the board of CILT UAE.

Experience

Ahmad has extensive experience in strategy, leadership, and supply chain management. In 1999, he launched his career in Istanbul, where he managed the supply chain for FMCG industry leaders Dole Fresh Fruits, Sadia, and Tyson Foods in Turkey and the CIS countries. Later, he developed and led the procurement department for the telecom provider MTN in Conakry, Guinea. Prior to joining Meirc, Ahmad was a principal consultant with TCO Management Consulting, a Dubai-based boutique consultancy, where he advised leaders in the healthcare, media, and government sectors on matters of strategic planning and organizational restructuring. Ahmad has also been involved in numerous research undertakings and is the author of several acclaimed white papers.

Expertise

At Meirc, Ahmad facilitates courses in supply chain management, contracts management, and strategy. He also specializes in various behaviour topics on leadership and management skills. In addition to his training expertise, Ahmad engages in surgical consulting assignments related to supply chain management, strategic planning, and organizational design.
