Supply Chain Resilience: What it Means and why it is Important

21 November 2019 (Thursday)

Threats to your business as natural disasters, trade wars and cyber-attacks increase as supply chains complexity grows. While there is no magic bullet for overcoming these challenges, organizations cope with the complications through investments targeting higher levels of resilience.
A resilient supply chain has two primary attributes – a capability to resist and a capacity to recover. Resistance defines the ability of the supply chain to delay disruption and therefore, reduce the impact when it occurs. Recovery defines the ability of the supply chain to return to normal operations after a disruption.
The purpose of this webinar is to expand on these mechanisms and to show how an organization can build resilience in the face of disruption.
