Mr. Jimmy Haddad is a partner with Meirc Training & Consulting. He holds a bachelor of arts in international business management from Notre Dame University, Lebanon, a master of arts in educational technology with a concentration in human performance technology from Concordia University, Canada, and a graduate certificate in leadership and human resources management from McGill University, Canada. In addition, Jimmy holds certification as a Myers-Briggs type indicator practitioner (MBTI) and is a certified human resources business professional (HRBP) from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI), a certified professional by the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM-CP), a certified training practitioner (CTP) from the Institute of Performance and Learning and a certified professional in learning and performance (CPLP) from the Association of Talent Development.
Jimmy began his professional career working at Alarm Zone, a call center dedicated for selling and supporting household alarm systems in North America. Soon after joining, he was promoted to team supervisor responsible for coordinating operational activities, designing and developing best practices and coaching team members. He then joined Standard Life Assurance Company of Canada as a training specialist responsible for designing and developing classroom-based and eLearning courses. As a business solutions consultant at Standard Life, Jimmy was in charge of examining and evaluating existing processes in an effort to implement new operational systems. His role also included developing operational solutions, conducting training needs assessments, developing training courses, as well as identifying and implementing best practices. Prior to joining Meirc, Jimmy was the managing director of HTD Consulting, a consulting practice focusing on eLearning design and development, HR consulting, HR administration and training delivery.
With Meirc, Jimmy puts his course design and delivery expertise to good use. He consults, designs and delivers a variety of courses in the areas of training and development, human resources management, leadership and management, interpersonal skills and self-development. In the past years, Jimmy has delivered training courses in a variety of areas including performance management, train the trainer, competency based interviewing, presentation skills, knowledge management and emotional intelligence to clients in the banking and financial sector, oil and petrochemical industry, government and semi-government sector, as well as clients in the media, retail, pharmaceutical and FMCG industries.
