Education

Ms. Nasr is the Financial Controller with Meirc Training & Consulting. She holds a BS in Accounting and Economics from the United Arab Emirates University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Experience

Ms. Nasr has over 25 years of financial and accounting experience in a variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution, health, and training services. She spent 18 years working in the manufacturing industry including 5 years with Coca Cola Lebanon where she was exposed to international best practice. During her period with Coca Cola, she was responsible for the overall financial reporting, systems of internal controls, setting policies and procedures, managing employees, overseeing the day-to-day operations of a financial business, managing funds and investments, creating cash management strategies, implementing new accounting software, and dealing with the company's auditors. Her experience was further enriched with her CPA certification. Later, she moved to Clemenceau Medical Center, a health industry company, which was under construction. This gave her the opportunity to use her experience and continuous education to establish the finance and accounting department which included hiring staff, setting up policies and procedures, implementing ERP software for health service, and executing capital-raising strategies to support the Center’s expansion.

Expertise

Since joining Meirc in 2007, Ms. Nasr has been in charge of the finance and accounting department. She is responsible for financial reporting, managing funds and investments, payroll and benefits, monitoring collections from clients, participating in implementing new ERP systems and dealing with auditors and banks.
