Company description

PLUS is the technical/specialty training division of Meirc Training & Consulting. PLUS offers specialized (industry-oriented or function-specific) public and in-house training using external trainers, practitioners, and subject matter experts

Job description / role:
  • Supporting (proactive) pre-sales and Business Development
    • Obtaining sales meetings for Business Development Manager and PLUS Director
    • Follow-up sales support
    • After sales care (and relationship management with participants)
      • Upselling/cross-selling public and in-house
      • Feedback/in-touch with participants and nominators
    • Researching new markets/clients/leads
      • New industries and categories
      • SME opportunities
    • Attending local sales meetings (as needed)
  • Responding (reactive) to inbound client leads
    • Responding to public leads and web registrations
    • Qualify, create, manage, follow-up in-house proposals
  • Sales administration
    • Salesforce management
      • Lead entry
      • Periodic management reports
    • Coordinating with Meirc BD department
      • Client responses (inquiries and calendar postings)
      • Meetings
Requirements / credentials:
  • Experience required:
    • Minimum of 3-years of sales experience in the GCC
    • Experience in training (or learning and development) industry is an advantage
    • Worked within small teams
  • Education required: University (BS or BA) degree
  • Languages required: Fluent English and Arabic; please do not apply if you do not meet both language requirements
  • Computer skills: Fluidity with Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).  Basic knowledge of LinkedIn and of a sales CRM is an advantage
  • Ability to travel within the UAE
