9 Principles for Building Innovation in the Public Sector

Public Sector organizations around the world face many pressures including budget cuts, high expectations from the public, and increasing challenges in vital areas such as health and education. While innovation in the private sector has constantly produced new products and services, the public sector is often viewed as slow to respond and even slower to adapt. However, there are several examples of government agencies around the world who are constantly innovating by developing imaginative policies and introducing creative products and services.
The purpose of this webinar is to introduce principles that if applied, can help public sector organizations become better innovators.

Dr. Mohammed Nayal is a partner at Meirc Training & Consulting and Deputy General Manager for the company’s offices in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He holds a bachelor of science degree in systems and control engineering from Case Western Reserve University, a master of science in engineering economic systems from Stanford University, a master's in business administration from the University of California at Berkeley, and a doctorate in education from the University of Glasgow. In addition, Dr. Nayal is a certified business data analyst (CBDA) from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) and a certified training practitioner (CTP) from the Institute for Performance and Learning (I4PL).
