Dr. Ziad Zennie is a partner with Meirc Training & Consulting. He is a graduate of the American University of Beirut and holds a master of arts in English as well as a master of science in education, both from the University of Dayton, USA. Ziad also received a doctorate in educational administration, with an emphasis on corporate training, from the University of Cincinnati, USA. He is an accredited facilitator of the Emotional Competence Inventory (ECI) and a certified user of the Myers-Briggs type indicator (MBTI).
Ziad brings over thirty years of professional experience in education, management training, and consulting. He has held professorships at universities in the US and Lebanon. Before joining Meirc, Ziad was the assistant principal of the industrial training centers with ARAMCO in Saudi Arabia and director of the continuing education division with Brainpower, a leading HR consultancy firm in Lebanon. As president of IMPACT, Human Resource Counselors, a USA-based firm, Ziad trained and consulted with General Electric Aircraft Engines, the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Technical College, as well as a number of educational institutions.
Ziad’s areas of specialty include leadership development and emotional intelligence, as well as adult learning and the management, design, delivery and evaluation of training. His other areas of expertise include human resources management and team building, as well as training and executive coaching in the areas of interpersonal and personal development.
Ziad is the co-author of Developing Multicultural Leaders (with Dr. Farid Muna), published by Palgrave Macmillan, UK, 2010. The book uncovers the journey to leadership success of 310 leaders from 129 organizations in 12 Arab countries and is the result of extensive research conducted by eight Meirc consultants led by Ziad.
