Walid I. Fraiha, Management Consultant
Mr. Fraiha is a Management Consultant with Meirc Training and Consulting. He holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Notre Dame University in Lebanon and a Master’s in Accounting and Taxation from the University of Hartford in Connecticut, USA. Mr. Fraiha is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
Walid has twenty years of experience between The Middle East and USA. His experience includes business advisory and audit roles with Ernst & Young, financial management with Kettaneh Group focusing on accounting, finance and internal audit functions. Walid also served as Group Financial Controller in JHF, a manufacturing, wholesale, and retail group in Connecticut, USA. Moreover, Walid served as a business advisor & auditor and held other senior finance positions in other companies that gave him experience in setting up and managing financial departments. His industry experience includes service, consulting, auditing, bottling, manufacturing, trading and contracting. Before joining Meirc, Walid was the Corporate Financial Controller for GlobeMed, a group that invests in, and provides solutions to, third party administrators.
Walid has extensive experience in financial and managerial accounting, internal control, operational and compliance auditing, corporate governance and structures. His value proposition includes designing policies and procedures for the accounting department to improve its efficiency and effectiveness. He is also experienced in training financial department personnel in financial reporting and analysis with a special emphasis on monthly and year end closing, budget preparation and analysis, business and financial reporting.
