Maher A. Rayes
Maher A. Rayes, Deputy Managing Director
Education
Mr. Rayes is Deputy Managing Director of Meirc Training & Consulting. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut and a Master of Business Administration from Leicester University, U.K. He has also completed a number of executive programs in Management.
Experience
Mr. Rayes has more than 26 years of experience in middle and senior level managerial skills as well as sales and customer service, gained with a number of regional companies headquartered in Beirut, Athens and Dubai. He started his career as a client service supervisor at Credit Libanais, one of the largest Lebanese banks where he profitably developed the main-branch client base and ensured flexible organizational flexibility in dealing with clients. In 1988, he moved to Athens to assume the position of Sales Manager at W. Idriss SA, a major food trading company covering the Middle East, North Africa and East Europe. His competencies focused on business development planning, implementation and client support. Mr. Rayes also worked as Business Manager of Hazar media group of companies where he was responsible for, sales, client relations, business operations and management.
Expertise
Since joining Meirc, Mr. Rayes has been successfully involved in the business development efforts of the company as well as managing its administrative functions. In addition, he has developed and delivered for Meirc’s clients in the MENA region a number of training and development programs in the areas of leadership and management, organizational behavior, administration, self-development, sales and customer service.
