Mr. Abdo is a Board Member of Meirc Training & Consulting. He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration MBA from the University of Iowa, the United States, majoring in Labor and Management. He completed his undergraduate studies at the American University of Beirut, earning a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Mr. Abdo joined Meirc in 1961 as a full-time Research Consultant, and prior to that worked for the firm as a parttime Researcher for three years.

With more than forty years of continuous employment with Meirc, Mr. Abdo covered a variety of functions for the firm. His first major assignment was in 1962 where he led a research team to determine the expenditure patterns of a multi-national company in Kuwait. Mr. Abdo took charge of the firms administration and became Director of Administration. In 1968, Mr. Abdo concentrated his efforts on training and shortly after that took charge of this function at Meirc. As Director of Manpower Development and Research Services, he designed and implemented many in-company and public training programs. He initiated in 1980 a series of seminars held in Tokyo for Japanese businessmen, which continue to be conducted annually up to this day. In 1985, Mr. Abdo became the Managing Director of Meirc and the firms Chairman in 1991.

Mr. Abdos areas of expertise are general management, supervisory skills, creative problem solving and decision-making, self-development and interpersonal skills, as well as cultural awareness.
