Mr. Taher is a Partner and Deputy Managing Director with Meirc Training & Consulting. He is a graduate of the American University of Beirut and is certified by Development Dimensions International (DDI) in Interaction Management and by Saville & Holdsworth (SHL) in Occupational Testing and Occupation Profiling.

Mr. Taher started his career in the USA in 1985 as a Training Officer and later on as a Training Manager in one of Pepsi Cola's subsidiaries. In 1991 he moved to Kuwait to assume the position of Training Officer, Group Training Manager and later on as Head of Human Resources with Al-Homaizi Group, the franchisee for Burger King, Pizza Hut and a number of other international brands. Prior to joining Meirc Mr. Taher was the Regional Head for Training & Development (Middle East & South Asia) for Standard Chartered Bank in Dubai.

With Meirc, Mr. Taher specializes in training and consulting within the areas of organizational behavior with special emphasis on management & leadership, human resources and interpersonal skills. He is also an expert in competency frameworks and has helped several organizations in this region successfully establish and implement a range of competency-based HR applications such as competency based recruitment, selection, training and performance management.
