Dr. Abboud is a Management Consultant with Meirc Training & Consulting. He holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from Syracuse University in the USA, as well as a Ph.D. in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech in the USA.

Dr. Abboud comes to Meirc with over 18 years of experience in both industry and academia. He was a research & development staff analyst with United Airlines in the USA working on yield and inventory management projects. Following that, Dr. Abboud joined the American University of Beirut as Associate Professor of Engineering Management, where he designed and delivered graduate level courses in inventory management, decision analysis, manufacturing systems analysis, statistics and advanced engineering economy. He then joined EXE Technologies in Dubai where he provided logistics and supply chain management consultancy as well as technology implementation and integration services throughout the Middle East region. Finally, he was Director of projects with Agility Corporation in addition to managing the learning function throughout the organization. As Projects Director, Dr. Abboud provided strategic advice, coordination, resource planning, quality assurance and process management for the launch of new logistics facilities in the entire Middle East region.

With Meirc, Dr. Abboud conducts training programs and provides consulting services in supply chain and inventory management, quality management, corporate learning, as well as general management and organizational behavior.
