Ghassan N. Nakfoor - Partner |

Mr. Nakfoor is a Partner with Meirc Training & Consulting. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Economics and a Master of Arts in Human Communication from California State University in the U.S.A. Also, Mr. Nakfoor holds Purchasing Management Certification (C.P.M.) from the Institute for Supply Management, as well as an Adult Education Credential from the State of California. Mr. Nakfoor held several academic and managerial positions before joining Meirc. His professional experience includes teaching Management, Business Communication, Industrial Psychology and Organizational Behavior courses at Haigazian University in Beirut, as well as managing the Purchasing Department with Micro Linear Corporation in the United States. While at Micro Linear, Mr. Nakfoor controlled an annual budget of 56 million US dollars, as well as negotiated high-dollar contracts with international and local suppliers. In addition, Mr. Nakfoor was on the Micro Linear team that was responsible for the planning and execution of the ISO and TQM programs. Mr. Nakfoor also assumed the Materials Planner function with Intel Corporation, the world’s largest computer chip manufacturing company, at their main headquarter in California. One of his main responsibilities included the management of the strategic materials inventory levels to ensure the un-interrupted production of Intel’s key products. With Meirc, Mr. Nakfoor conducts a wide range of training programs focusing on the areas of interpersonal communication, business and technical writing, presentation skills, management skills, behavioral skills, negotiation skills, as well as purchasing and materials management. |
