Fawzi A. Bawab - Partner

Quality Management, Business Training, Executive Training Consultant Mr. Bawab is a Partner with Meirc Training and Consulting. The holder of a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering Management, he is a certified quality professional and trainer. Mr. Bawab is also a senior member with the American Society for Quality (ASQ), the American Institute of Industrial Engineers and the American Society of Engineering Management. Among the certifications he holds/held are: Certified Quality Lead Assessor with IRCA of London, England, a certified TS16949 automotive Assessor, an approved ASQ Lean Six Sigma trainer and a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational excellence with ASQ.

Prior to re-joining Meirc in 2004, Mr. Bawab held several managerial positions in North America and the Middle East. He was the Regional Business Manager for British Standards Institution (BSI-ME) based in Dubai and the Training Director for BSI-Americas based in Ottawa, Canada. Before that, he was the Training Director with KPMG Quality Registrar in North America. Mr. Bawab also worked with IBM as the Quality Manager/Specialist for IBM locations in the Gulf.

With more than 22 years of top management experience in various companies and experience in the Quality and Organizational Improvement Management profession Mr. Bawab's areas of specific competence include quality and performance management systems, strategic management and scorecard/KPIs development, business process improvement/reengineering, Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9000 development and implementation and quality planning and various national quality awards deployment. Mr. Bawab is also a frequent keynote speaker at professional conferences and meetings.
