Chaouki M. Eid - Deputy Managing Director |

Mr. Eid is a Partner and Deputy Managing Director of Meirc Training & Consulting. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Middlesex Polytechnic, England, and a Master of Science in Management Sciences from Southampton University, England. Mr. Eid’s industrial experience includes working as Plant, Maintenance and Project Engineer for General Construction Companies in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia where he was directly managing the operation and maintenance business units of construction plants and equipment, as well as the materials planning and control divisions along all in-house, expansion and modification projects. Mr. Eid has also worked as a Management Consultant for an American-based productivity improvement company on projects in Australia and New Zealand where he was directly responsible for improving operation efficiencies and productivity for clients in the manufacturing, financial and service industries. The job involved the performance evaluation of business units, manpower planning, auditing, design and installation of management operating systems, including setting objectives, key performance indicators and departmental targets, as well as coaching client staff on how to identify and solve work-related problems to optimize performance. Since joining Meirc in 1992, Mr. Eid has led several consulting assignments with Meirc in the areas of strategic planning, productivity improvement & cost reduction initiatives, cost of living surveys and career development programs. He also conducts courses in management and supervision, project management, performance management with emphasis on strategic planning and the balanced scorecard, self-development, behavioral skills, materials and supply chain management, maintenance management, as well as behavioural safety. |
